i absolutely love tales of horror told with a sophisticated tongue, but i used to hate trudging through the language in print – carefully deciphering the pacing of each odd phrase while mentally sounding out each syllable. in junior high this kind of literature was force fed to me. no wonder my comprehension slipped. it has only recently occurred to me that i don’t need to dwell on these details to understand what’s going on.
if you have a little time and want to slip in the autumn/halloween spirit, read “Herbert West: The Reanimator”, a series of 6 short stories written by H.P. Lovecraft, which defined the modern zombie archetype. Read it!
THEN, you can play the de-animator flash game. it’s easy, use your mouse to aim and click to fire your revolver. it takes a bit of time to reload, so kill the zombies with plenty of distance. remember, not all zombies go down the same so head shots don’t always work. when you find the shotgun, hit the shift key to toggle between weapons. couldn’t get past the fourth stage. rrgggh. have fun.

stage 13?! good job ol’ chap!
i think it does keep going.. my mediocre skills brought me to stage 10, but alas, my hand-to-eye coordination is lacking.
i fear the maggots in my left eye may be hindering my performance.
