Richmond Zombie Walk

Richmond, Virginia's Zombie Walk has become an annual tradition attracting young and old undead from all across the east coast. At its heart, the Richmond Zombie Walk is a fundraising parade benefiting various charities. We have costume contests and sometimes stage zombie attacks on poor innocent bystanders (all in the name of fun). So put on your bloody best and join the horror show!

There’s a lot of great things happening this fall and this is the first VCU Broad Street Mile. If you can drag your rotten husks up and down Carytown, you can certainly do it for a mile. 16 themes and one of them is, surprise, a ZOMBIE MILE! You know you want to do it. It’s going to be a lot of fun and plus.. think of all the brains in attendance. Mmmm..

CALLING ALL VCU ZOMBIES!

April 1, 2010 by DeadMason

Our friends at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA have something special planned. You all should be good and thawed for this week’s activities.. His message is as follows..

It has been a dream of mine for a long time to have a zombie flash mob right when they blare that loud siren as a test for natural disasters here in Richmond.

And we are going to make it happen on Wednedsay April 7, 2010 at NOON. It will take place at the Compass on the VCU campus. However, we will be meeting before hand at 10 AM.

We will have an actor playing a priest and preaching the end of the world and then we will unleash the zombies on him. We’ll have a film crew there and I have some make-up artists helping out before the event.

Please email me if you’re interested and I’ll give you more details

mattspicer1342@gmail.com

I have about 20 zombies on board right now. The more the scarier!

aagggghhhhhhhh!
(thank you in zombie)

At this year’s Zombie Workshop we’ll cover all the gory details.

Zombie Flesh F/X
With liquid latex, fake blood, and a little bit of patience you’ll see how simple it is to create amazingly realistic torn bleeding skin anywhere on your body. You do not want to miss this demo!

Be a Zombie or Just Look Like One
So do you need to actually need to crawl out of the ground to get that look? We’ll show you some tricks on how to achieve various stages of “deadness” and get those digs nice and grimy without the stank.. hopefully. And if you’ve got some cool tips to share, bring it! We highly encourage tip swapping.

We’ll get you straight before the big date.

Questions? Leave us a comment!

bloody kisses,
